South Island White Mist sauvignon blanc recalled from Dan Murphys, BWS

Dan Murphy’s and BWS has pulled a popular white wine off its shelves in stores across Australia.

Pinnacle Drinks is conducting a recall of 750ml bottles of South Island White Mist sauvignon blanc due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, being sulphites, Food Standards Australia states.

The product, which has been available for sale at Dan Murphy’s and BWS for $17, could cause customers who have a sulphites allergy or intolerance to have a reaction if the product is consumed, warns the foods standards body.

More Coverage

“Consumers who have a sulphites allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
