The History of Michael Phelps Girlfriends Before He Met Nicole Johnson
It’s been over a year since Michael Phelps got engaged to Nicole Johnson. It was first announced that the two would wed back in February of 2015. So why am I bringing up Phelps now? Because he just did a ridiculously awesome commercial for Under Armour. And that tells me the hype surrounding Phelps’ return to the Olympics in Rio is going to start growing. Now that the swimmer is north of 30 and is sporting a grizzly beard, it’s going to be a great plot line to see how many more golds this “old” man can take home.
But we’re not going to focus on Michael Phelps in Rio today. We’re going to focus on what being the most famous swimmer of all-time gets you. Other than over $100 million in endorsements, Phelps rise to fame also gave him the opportunity to meet a number of women before he finally proposed to Nicole Johnson. We’ll start from the most recent going all the way back to 2008.
Taylor Lianne Chandler in 2014 (rumor)
This was a big story but we’re pretty sure it’s true. In 2014 Michael allegedly met Taylor Lianne Chandler, on the dating app Tinder, but was upset that she was not upfront with him about being ‘intersex.’ It’s interesting that this is the woman he dated right before he met his future wife.
Win McMurry in 2013
A lot of people thought that Win would be the one for Phelps. I’ll always remember when these two went to the ESPYs together and it was causing a big stir. Guess it didn’t take.
Megan Rossee in 2012
This just seems to me a situation where Phelps was just seeing how gorgeous a woman he could land. And with Rossee he hit the jack pot. She ended it with him unfortunately.
